KVHRA Membership

    Thank you for your interest in membership with KVHRA!  Membership in KVHRA is by the calendar year.  Membership dues for renewing members are due by December 31 of each year. 

    In 2018, KVHRA is planning a half-day long seminar in place of our March meeting, with a dynamic speaker, soon to be announced!  Members who pay in advance will be able to attend the half-day seminar at no extra cost.

    No cost for Members in Transition (between jobs), Newly Certified members or Student Members
    (Waiver applies one time only, with the exception of Student Members, who are eligible for the duration of full-time student enrollment. Covers annual dues only.)

    Membership Application for New Members


    KVHRA Membership Levels:

    Professional: in accordance with bylaws, those persons actively engaged in one of more of the following:
    (a) the profession of human resources; (b) those persons having demonstrated an interest in pursuing a
    career in human resources through education or training; (c) certified by the Human Resource
    Certification Institute; (d) faculty members holding an assistant, associate, or full professor rank in
    human resources management or any of its specialized functions at an accredited college or university
    and have at least three years of experience at this level of teaching; (e) full-time consultants with at least
    three years of experience practicing in the field of human resource management; and/or (f) full-time
    attorneys with at least three years experience in counseling and/or advising clients on matters relating to
    the human resource profession.

    Student: one who is deemed a college student in accordance with SHRM’s membership criteria.
    KVHRA waives membership dues for members in transition (between jobs), student members, and newly certified (within the past 12 months) PHR/SPHR/GPHR or SHRM-CP/SCP members. Please provide proof of certification with your Membership Renewal. These waivers will apply to members one time only, except for student members, who are covered for as long as they are qualified students. Please be sure to let us know should one of these waivers apply to you!
