We are also applying to HRCI for 23.25 GENERAL credits towards PHR and SPHR, and 17.25 BUSINESS credits towards SPHR recertification.

Ø DON’T FORGET - CHAPTER & STATE COUNCIL BOARD LEADERS GET TUESDAY AT THE CONVENTION FOR FREE! Tuesday, May 7 is SHRM State Council Leadership Day at the Convention. Attendance on that day is FREE to State Council Board Members and Local Chapter Board Members attending the Tuesday morning State Council Leadership session. Attending this morning session is required for the free day.

These rate include the FREE Tuesday and the member rate.

Ø  Free Attendance Giveaway to Each Chapter! We’re looking forward to giving away a free pass to each chapter. If you have not coordinated your Free Pass Drawing with us please be in touch as soon as possible.

Ø  Monthly Meeting & Membership Updates – Our convention team will continue to provide Convention updates to disperse to your monthly meeting attendees. These flyers will either be delivered in person or emailed/mailed. Your chapter’s monthly e-newsletter and/or monthly meeting email should also include the latest Convention listing.

Ø  Convention Will Continue to Supply Each Chapter with Viable Prospects to Increase Local Chapter Membership - The HR Convention will continue to assist local chapter membership efforts. Our attendee registration includes a question that allows registrants to request information about local chapters. The lists will be provided on a monthly basis starting in February until after the May Convention. This list includes first name, last name, title, company, email address, and town. An excellent list to actively work membership efforts.

Ø  Additional Chapter Scholarships? In addition to the free seat the Convention provides each chapter, most chapters give away additional scholarship seats.  The Convention is happy to provide your chapter additional scholarship seats at a 25% reduced rate. If you have not been in touch already, please be in touch with us soon if you are interested in purchasing scholarship passes.
