KVHRA Committees

Finance Committee

Under the direction of the President and Treasurer of the Association, finance committee members will oversee the financial affairs of the organization and serve in an advisory capacity to the Board.

Legislative

Monitor and evaluate, on a continuing basis, pending legislative, regulatory, and legal action at the federal, state and local levels that may have an impact on the management of human resources.  Inform elected officials of SHRM’s position on legislation affecting the human resources profession, working in close cooperation with the State Public Affairs Director and SHRM headquarters staff in carrying out these responsibilities.  It is advisable that the chapter legislative representative serve a multiple-year term.

Membership

Manage the membership function to successfully achieve an increase in chapter membership.  Manage the upkeep of the chapter's membership database and rosters. Coordinate annual membership billing and membership drive.

Programming

Will select topics and speakers for monthly and satellite programs in order to provide information on topics of broad interest to chapter members.  Will also review ideas for sponsors and secure/coordinate sponsors for KVHRA programs.

Web

The Web Committee is responsible for the maintenance of the KVHRA website. The Web Committee welcomes your feedback and input.
